WOW. How fast does a year go by? Well, actually 11.5 months in our feeble defense. In our last post we were gearing up for a 2011 filled with love and weddings to celebrate, happy couples to toast, and with many, many photo opportunities looming. How then have we presented the THL blog-followers with nothing to behold? Hmmm ... We have so much catching up to do, perhaps we need to start in the present and work backward for a little while until we are caught up. (And before last year's weddings start to bring about this year's babies!)
This week is an exciting and official first public debut for RAKuzma Photos. Fittingly, a few pieces of Rich's work will be on display as part of Ely Artwalk 2012 which takes place each year during the Ely Winter Festival. Rich was very, very excited and honored to be able to be part of this event in our wonderful little hometown. Check out the festival website, and if you are lucky enough to be in Ely you can check out his works at the Ely Boathouse Brewpub during this year's festival! http://elywinterfestival.com
We do pledge to present here in the blog more often ... and we will look forward to looking back ... Through His Lense ... at all wonder of the past 11.5 months. For now enjoy "Bean Quilt" from the Minneapolis Farmer's Market last fall. This photo is happily dedicated to Rich's sister Nancy, who's been very helpful with his Ely Artwork pieces and supportive of all his work, and is also an amazing and gifted quilter!
